OASIS® Designer's Collection - a project with the State Technical School for Floral Art Weihenstephan

We set the base – you create the emotions. This is the motto under which Smithers-Oasis is starting the new year. A new collection aimed especially at floral designers who strive for limitless creative freedom – the OASIS® Designer’s Collection. 8 students of the State University of Floriculture Weihenstephan were given the honor to test the new products in advance and dedicated themselves to the following question: “What impulses can the new OASIS® Designer’s Collection give to floristry and floral art and what influence have Smithers-Oasis products had on floral design in the past and present?”. The focus was on their functionality in everyday floristry. The aim was to use the products in a practical and efficient manner in the area of event, shop window and trade fair stand staging by means of targeted design interventions. In the subjects of design-oriented design, visualization and model, design theory, photography and media design, the students of the 70th class developed, visualized and executed their ideas for the OASIS® Designer’s Collection.
