50 Years Smithers-Oasis Germany GmbH - family party
May 18, 2019, Grünstadt – It has now been 50 years since Smithers-Oasis opened its doors in Germany and started supplying the European market with fresh and dried floral foam. Since then, the products have become indispensable tools for many florists worldwide.
50 years Smithers-Oasis Germany, if that is not a reason to celebrate. And so it is time to say thank you – on May 18, our site celebrated a big family party with over 200 guests. The entire staff with family and friends, the management as well as former employees spent a great afternoon together on the company premises, and also company owner Robin Kilbride and company founder Manfred Röder were warmly welcomed. The next generation had a great time on the bouncy castle, turned into wild lions during the children’s face painting or conjured up little homemade flowercrowns and flower bracelets. Great moments could be captured in the photo box and taken home as a souvenir. Soon the smell of tarte flambée, fresh burgers and homemade cakes attracted the first hungry guests into the marquee. Those who took a seat there experienced our Evi in full action. The history of the company was told by Mr. Röhrenbeck, of course in Rhoihessian. Great prices were to be won by all guests at the following tombola. We thank all guests for a great day and look forward to another 50 years together!
